Launch of Pity of War

The Pity of War charitable trust is delighted to announce its public virtual launch. This will take place on Hiroshima Day this year—the 75th anniversary of the dropping of the atomic bomb on Hiroshima, when some 75,000 people were killed immediately, the majority of whom were civilians. It is thought that about the same number again died later as a result of the bomb. Two thirds of the buildings were destroyed.  Check out our website to see what our aims our.
