Postcard from Lebanon #2

Dear Readers

Today I will convey to you a new chapter in the suffering of the Syrian refugees in Lebanon after the explosion in the Beirut port.

There is nothing new in the life of the Syrian refugee in Lebanon except that he has lost hope in life and help from any party. Most of the refugees are waiting for divine providence to change their lives, as the living conditions in Lebanon have become very difficult for Syrians since the economy deteriorated in Lebanon and normal ways of living were disrupted.

Prices increased by nearly four times and the food resources decreased, as Syrians are prevented from working in Lebanon and most of them do not receive any assistance from the High Commissioner for Refugees.

Bitter days are lived by refugees without hope in life. They wait for the days to pass quickly; something may change and wake up the ignorant world and inform them of their suffering.
